I received my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Boston University in 1988. In the early years of my career I was among the founding faculty of the Behavioral Medicine Program at The Cambridge Hospital, serving at times as Coordinator of Anxiety Disorders Treatments and as Director of Behavioral Medicine Training. I continued to be affiliated with The Cambridge Hospital until 2005, serving in various administrative, teaching and supervisory capacities that included periods as instructor for the Department of Psychiatry’s Psychotherapy Seminar for third year residents, and as chair of the hospital’s Institutional Review Board (IRB). From 1991 until 1997, I was co-director of a group practice, Cambridge Associates in Psychotherapy and Mediation, where I supervised, taught, performed administrative functions, and provided patient care. Since then I have continued in private practice with an office in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
